Curious that you and "E" report a diverging call purpose, one which inches the theory closer to illegal cold sales calls.

They identified themselves upon answering through a computer generated message. The computer asked about social media usage. Press 1 for this and 2 for that and so on... when you don't respond, the computer then asks you to press any key so that they know you are still on the line... creepy. Don't wait for them to give you the option to OPT-OUT... THEY DO NOT!
Your only option to NOT continue to receive phone calls from this number is to HANG UP!

I have made it a practice to ignore calls from unknown numbers and hope that they don't leave a message.
