I answered the second time around and heard a beep. I was about to hang up when a man with a heavy middle eastern accent said "hello I am calling from home alarm company". I could hear a lot of noise in the background as if he was calling from a busy company. I simply stated "goodbye" and hung up.
Just a beep, then a person saying "hello" "hello". Can someone please invent a taser that will work through the phone line?
Good ole 800 amps to the headset would cure their calling me.
I'm labeling this as a "Telemarketer", but that's being generous. This is a blatant scam advertising a "free home security service" from "Home Security Systems". Once you pick up, you'll hear a beep followed by one of the following (I'm including how many times each has happened to me in the past week): silence (2), "Hello...hello..." (1), or a person trying to read from a script for aforementioned "company" (2).
When trying to call the number back, the line cannot be reached and you get the all too familiar "the line you are trying to call has been disconnected".
Just got this call 2 minutes ago, out of Warwick Rhode Island. Just heard a beep, waited 10 seconds, said "hello" in the most annoyed tone I could muster, and instantly disconnected.
