CID Triple V, no message. Don't know anyone in Rhode Island, blocked entire area code. Thanks for calling.
The CID with Triple V calls from all over the country.
I have over 1,600 numbers blocked! Does no good, really, because they spoof to unused numbers. They have even spoofed my own telephone number to me. I blocked myself from landline calls. If we had a list of all the unused numbers, they would just spoof to used numbers. I've found a good way to block them all. Try forwarding known numbers to your cell phone. Any others must leave a message. Turn yur landline ringer off and you will have silences these nuisance callers. Also, google "north dokota" and lawsuit and robo. You will be amazed. Another tactic - answer your hone and don't talk other than to utter some gutteral sounds so their computer will put you through to their agent. Then either leave the phone off the hook or speak a foreighn language to the. I know some nasty Chinses phrass - their agent responded "you are a funny guy." Another tip: When you notice acall from a common area code and prefix, block that number and the numbers in between.
I woulld like to use wildcards to block all area codes except my relatives'. If you google search,, you will see this is in the offing. The FCC encourages it. However, the spoofers and scammers just stay abrast of the technology, so all that really works to my knowledge is forwarding your calls to you cell phone and DO NO GIVE OUT YOUR CELL NUMBER TO ANYONE. Even places like Home Depot will want your cell number - they, I think, sell it to a service and then you are screwed.
