Scammer (claiming to be with the Dept. Of Legal Services) called saying the same thing about an old and already paid payday loan. Told them that and they just kept insisting I owed and kept asking if I had a paid in full letter on me. This was from over 5 years ago.... So I told them I would call the people myself and ask questions about it and for them to give me there information, case#, their phone number (they gave me a different# from the caller ID which was 401-390-2150 while the caller ID said 910-354-1833) asked for an address they said it wasn't protocol to give it so I asked for the state (NC Cumberland County), full name (Maria Mills) asked for her employee ID# and she said ok, but hung up... Called back and a Lisa Riley pick up and asked her to transfer me to the person I was speaking to, was placed on hold and then she came back to say my account was taken care of that it was a faxed duplication error (B.S.) and I wouldn't be receiving any more calls... DONT PAY THEM REPORT THEM!!!! (Call County Sheriff Department)
I recieve a call from unknown number and the guy name Angel Martinez, says I need to call the claims number 4013902150 and gave me case #.. I asked for the company he works for and address and phone # and he told me "No u dont need to know that info.. and he was really rude to me..
I received a call from an unavailable #, which I originally answered, but then hung up immediately. The male caller called me right back, which at that point, I let the call go to my voicemail. I listened to my voicemail message, where I was informed that a server from CV Services would be coming by my home within 1 hour for me to sign papers and if not, I would be held in contempt of court. He stated that his name is John Vader and that he is from CV Services. He also left 401.390.2150 as his callback #.
A male by the name Antonio, called and said he needed my sister in laws # and place of employment, he said he wanted to serve some papers. I did not give out any info. He gave me a call back number and when he called back I told him I gave his # to my brother and he was very rude, said I should not give out his number! haha
