called saturday morning. made the mistake of answering it. a survey type call, wanted to pay me $75 to go into a grocery store called: snooks, or sloops or something like that and see how they conduct themselves in stores. the call came from rhode island and maybe they have those stores in rhode island, but i have never heard of them in indiana. i figure if someone calls for you to do a "secret shopper" type job that you don't apply for, then it more than likely isn't legit.

I can tell you right now there is no grocery or retail chain in that state with a name sounding even remotely like "snoo-" anything. I should not have to explain the spoofing concept. Area codes and exchanges are not reliable indicators of the source of any deceptive call.
