So I called the Lakeville Police Department and they told me the fundraiser is for the "Lakeville Police Association." It does not support the town or the department. However, the dispatcher was a little dicey on the response, when she kept repeating that it was for the "Association." So I really don't know if this is legit or not. Police conducting fundraiser

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Police Association (through North East Advertising) is currently conducting a telephone fundraiser in the Lakeville and Middleboro area. This fundraiser will be going for the next month. The funds raised during this event are to benefit many of the association's donation programs such as the Drug Awareness Summer Camp, High School Student Scholarship program and many other organizations the Lakeville Police Association donates to.
