Young guy called asking for Kristen who nevet owned my private longtime nonpublished number then I say wrong number and hang up and instant call right after sat and listen and when I said u r being traced and recorded he hung up. Calls were from:(401) 332-6107 and then 4014062614
Called a few days ago on my cell phone. I picked up because it was the same area code (Rhode Island). A recording said that that the number was selected randomly for a public opinion survey, and was not a telemarketing call. The caller urged responding to the survey because public officials use surveys to help set policies and make decisions. I hung up at that point.
Got a call at 7:47 pm on July 30, 2015. Didn't answer. No vm left. Like Herb said (above), I'm from RI also and I was tempted to answer but didn't. Caller ID had seven numbers, a colon, and seven more numbers.
