Received a call from this number yesterday. I said hello but nothing else. The man on the other line said hello twice and then he said "Can you hear me". I hung up at this time. Heard from several media sources that this is a major scam who uses your "yes" response to charge you a fee for responding.
First call 2-3 day days ago. Soft electronic noises, but no one there. Computer hung up on me after about 10 seconds. Same thing today, but then "Victor" from "Best Back Brace List" came on the line with background noise from a busy call center. I didn't listen to his pitch. He hung up on me when I asked him to make sure his company never called again.
Received a phone call from this number, per caller id, from Rhode Island. When I answered, women (with heavy accent) stated the name of the company (difficult to understand, maybe Health Care Solutions??) and stated she was calling survey people about pain. I told her I have intermittent back pain and she proceeded to tell me that she was setting up an account for me to receive a back brace "free of charge" billed through my insurance. When I told her it's not really free since I pay a deductible, she didn't understand. She eventually passed me over to her floor supervisor who was very persistent in obtaining my health insurance member id. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable giving this info over the phone (especially for something neither my physician or I ordered) and he was very persistent and getting to be annoying. After going around in circles with him multiple times, I eventually politely told him to remove me from their call list and hung up. Major scam - beware!
Called, hung up on voice mail after 3 seconds of silence leaving no message. Caller ID said the number is supposedly Rhode Island. Ok. Others say this caller is brace/medical supply scam if you answer.
