A single call I could dismiss as a misdial, but I have two calls this week for a number no one has reported anywhere until yesterday. Caller ID is only a dud "unknown name". Wish I had more to say, but each call has been abandoned at four rings, so my recorder is never triggered, and I've not yet answered.

The carrier PaeTec has been long associated with illegal sales calls from Versatile Marketing, usually for alarm systems and small dish TV service. VMS is headed in Little Rhody by a South Asian who tries to hide that fact. If I had to make a wild guess I would start there for unmasking the caller.
