After recieving numerous calls from what I thought to be a good friend in Block Island I realized it is the same telemarketing ploy that has been used here to steal money from innocent people under false pretenses and not do anything that they say that they are going to do. The question I asked is if I give you a $50.00 donation how much actually goes to the cause. No answer. These are the same people that call you one week after you have generously given money and say it is for another heartfelt cause. It usually is from a storefront operation on Mineral Spring Ave. in Johnston. The Attorney General is aware and it is only a matter of time before this scam is ended. I am clicking on telemarketer in the Question area only because there is no check mark for this type of scam
