got call, recording on answering machine, said they are working for state of VT (I live in) and will pay me $75 to do a 90 mins survey about my opinion on the VT Lottery (90 mins?) and when this is done depends on scheduling in my area. Didn't say if it was over the phone or I was supposed to go somewhere to do this. Seems like they could call and do survey over the phone and not have to pay? Reading that people who answered got asked for bank info but that might be to deposit the $75 in LOL I guess someone who wanted the money might go along with it. I just heard 90 min survey and that didn't seem legit.
Person called and said they were doing a survey and the first question they asked was what bank I bank at? When I whould not disclose the information the person got nasty. The call came up on caller I.D. as Providence RI
I get a call from this number from time to time. I let it go to my answering machine. Always a young female with a little voice. The voice sounds very harmless. Most likely a scam. Too bad the FBI does not monitor this site and check out some of these numbers. I guess that would make too much sense.
