This is a scam. I received a text message from the number and all that was written was that the person was Maddi. It is a landline and they are using texting software to text cell phones. I know noone named Maddi. I guess they changed their M.O. There have been a ton of scams originating out of Rhode Island. News report in Rhode Island told cell phone owners to beware. It is a reverse phone bill scam. These people will text your cell phone acting like they are someone you know, so that you will text them. One of the numbesr that was used previously for the texting scam was 801-430-4254 and the name that was used was Sara. DO NOT TEXT OR CALL THEM BACK and check your cell phone bill for additional charges. I wish these !@#$ losers would get a real job to make their money.
