Received voicemail about chase account and to call number on back of credit card. Called chase and there are no issues with the account - this is definitely fraud / phishing scam - watch out!
Well, I didn't have the chance to answer it, but I do have a CHASE Visa card, and it turned out I had, indeed, missed my payment for the previous month.
I called them back, and I got a voicemail system instructing me to enter the phone number where the message was left. I ended the call at that point.
So, at least with me, it seems to have been a legitimate call from CHASE Visa on July 14th, 2016.
I received previous calls from this number claiming to be "Chase Bank".
The latest was today to my cell phone.
I called back and the recording asked for my phone number. The automated system does not identify as "Chase Bank".
Based on my experience and the other posts I determined that this is a fraud/phishing scam.
