This is not a scam. The first time they called I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. I checked Whitepages, which said that it was a legitimate number. When they called back, I answered. It was from Duane Reade reminding me about 2 prescriptions that were ready for refill. They ask for your birth date merely to identify you.
I had the number call today. I let the machine get it and no message. If this was a legitimate call a message would have been left. Who are these people?

I got this call also and they asked for my date of birth and I hung up. The area code for this duane reade refil was from nebraska I live in New York City. I've never been to nebraska so why would I have any prescriptions ready for pick up
