A few weeks ago my husband answered a call from "Govt Acct Proj" and handed me the phone as the man asked for me by name. It was some sort of pitch for a donation so I hung up on him. They are still calling! I have blocked the number so it only rings once.
A call from "Govt Acct Proj" is the latest of four unwanted calls from various places I've gotten today. The first time they called, a week or so ago, they left a message using my first name as though the caller was an old friend.... The past several times they called they did not leave a message. I don't pick up if I don't recognize the name or number.
