Same old story, different number. Left a message that if I don't call them....will be filed today....wave my rights....in the state...FRAUD!!!! I don't owe and they are not getting any of my information. They don't even know my name, or where I live. It's a SCAM!
A certain Mr Brown called saying i committed a fraud and owed xxxxx company $2,333.00. He did not want to give further details. If i don't pay soon, i will be issued a search and arrest warrant within 24 hours.
Wow! So he thinks i lay golden eggs. How could i owe a company who does not, or could not, even provide me details why i owe it money.
Disregard any LIES you hear from these, scamming, low life characters. I have also been getting calls daily from these SCAMMERs with the same message as everyone else. They say that they’re going to file a case with the court with my name and SS#, and they need to hear back from me or my attorney today, yada yada yada, Basically a lot of “I’ll huff and puff and blow your house down” big bad wolf threatening type stuff. Be aware these “SCAMMERS” also call from the following numbers. 402-454-7324, 402-951-9325, 402-951-9326, 402-951-9327, 402-817-7910, 402-817-7912. Hope this helps
I called that 402-951-9324 (one of their endless 402 area code numbers). Lady answers by calling themselves the Office of Financial Responsibility--trying to pretend it's some vague government agency. Became combative and talked over me. No idea where they are located but since they use the same area code in just about all their numbers, I'm thinking it's somewhere in the Midwest USA.
Oh, and they're not debt collectors; they are a "litigation firm". Right. Same old same old debt-scammer double-talk.
Other 402 numbers indicate a Mr Brown or a Miss Schaffer, when they DO id themselves. Also Morgan banks and Thomas Gibson. Not their real names of course.
