Easier then changing your number is to consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Seems like this prank call has crossed over to NY - or at least Long Island. I got a similar call last Saturday from a guy saying I had scratched his car and left a note with my number. He was swearing and cursing at me - although I tried to explain this was impossible since I can't drive at the moment as I had recent back surgery. I hung up telling him he had the wrong number. He called back several times leaving abusing and threatening messages. The caller ID said he was calling from the Yaphank Pizza Place. I ignored the call for a while, but a short time later the doorbell rang - I happened to be in our basement, and it takes me ages to get up and down stairs at the moment, but before I had a chance to get upstairs I heard someone walking around the house stopping at the windows - easy to hear because of the heavy snow! I called the police as I was worried the two things were connected. They went to the Pizza Place where the call had supposedly come from and called back to say it must have been a prank call. Weird - but I just hope it wasn't someone checking the house out for a burglary or something.
It's still happening same ghetto voice told me stop yapping said I hit his car and left a note on windshield. But I agree I think it's a recording there was a pause after I said hello. So I said hello again. then it said listen here stop your yapping......... Came up as unavailable
Guy called and asked if I would mind removing the hood portion of my Browns hoodie.
"I hate the Browns," I replied. "They haven't had a worthwhile coach since Butch Davis."
"Say that again," he said.
"Say what?" I asked.
"Butch," he replied. So I said the name Butch about ten or fifteen times, until he hung up. Fascinating stuff.
