This number has been calling me for months. It started as three times a day and has turned into 3 to 7 times a day. The time of day changes each day. It appears to be a fax. I have faxed them but that didn't help. I went to the Justice court to file charges and they said it could take up to six months. So I don't know what to do I'm tired of this number and I want to know how they got my cell number.
Seemed to have found the solution from http://PhoneOwner.info. Same kind of site as this. One person on that site suggested the following:
"We have contacted Cox Communications, the provider for this number, and they said that there is a "software" problem with the phone number. Apparently if you call the number back (actually call it, not fax), you can ask to have your number manually removed from this call."
So we had one day of constant calling, like everyone above mentioned. I immediatly found this site and the PhoneOwner site, and read all the comments. I then tried to call the number directly like the person suggested above. Of course, we just got the fax "buzzer"; however that seemed to be just enough, to do the trick. I don't know if it's coincidental, but we have NOT had a call back from that number since I dialed it directly, and it's been about a week now. Give it a try.
