Same thing happened to me only the salesmen claimed to be from Honeywell home security division and claimed to be putting in systems in the neighborhood so wanted to offer me a deal. I later got a call that showed up as Sims (not sure if it is corp. or inc.) and did not answer. Today recieved a letter that is hand addressed with no return address. It is from Hoffman Sims (again not corp. or inc.) claiming they have tried to contact me about my winning two free airline tickets. The letter is from Denise Long Vice President Travel Awards Division. asks me to call a local number. That local number is listed on this website as a scam as well.
caller said he was from SIMS home security looking for a home to be a 'security model' in our neighborhood. I asked him why he was calling us because we're on the do-not-call list. He hung up.
