You can also google the National Do Not Call List and enter you phone number(ie home, work, or cell)  If you receive a call make sure you write the name of the individual you speak with, date and time.  Then if they call again you can file a complain with the National Do Not Call list.  I have done this with three other phone numbers.  Charges were dismissed off my home phone and cell phone bills

I picked up a call from 402-982-0719 on my cell phone and a male voice started selling me.  I asked if it was a sales call and he said "no" but he continued trying to get me to put a sign on my front lawn in exchange for free security products.  The guy was unrelenting.  I hung up.

Nobody was on the other end of the line.  I immediately reported the call to the FTC, as our phone number is on the Do Not Call registry.

Received a call from this number this morning.  Rang twice and hung up
