called my business on a SATURDAY in the morning, which sucks because it's a home office. same time, a 'hello/ must have the wrong number' - but not a real person just a recording of it. hopefully it's not one of those things that fish to see when people pick up the line for later telemarketing attempts as Saturday morning would be lame.
Before I could answer with the business name, there was a "Hello - oh I must have the wrong number." I wish I had not answered it, if there is a scam of sorts, but I can't afford to turn away business. My customers have numerous area codes, because I am a few miles from another state line.
Same thing everyone else is mentioning......as soon as I picked up the phone to say good afternoon and the business name I work at I heard a voce saying...hello? and then when I was done said oh, I'm sorry I think I have the wrong # after I replied its ok there was nothing...no thank you no background noise....NOTHING. Yeah the good ole gut says something is wrong with this picture LOL
Got a call on my business line on a Sunday. I picked up the phone but did not speak. Then heard the hello? Hello? I think i must have the wrong number & it hung up. Isn't this called stalking??? What do scumbags like this have to gain from it?
