Got a call from this number on 1/23/08 12:09pm EST. It's a guy with a drunken voice asking whether I was lonely. Did they change the harrasing strategy? Or maybe the rude woman is not home so the husband picked up the phone and started to make stupid phone calls....
I just recieved a call from this number as well telling me it is very serious and she must speak with my retained attorney within the hour. I have had calls like this before from Bass and Associates out of Florida and I believe it was the same woman today.
I received a call today at 10:00am from Hilary Romano. She stated that I owe 763.93 by 3pm today before she goes into her court meeting or I will be processed for Misappropriation of funds and something else. When I asked her what this was in regards to she said a online payday loan that was given to me in Oct 2006. I stated that I remember taking out a loan and I was sure it was paid, however I did not remember the name of the company that sent the loan as it was two years ago. I asked her if she could send me a detail of WHO this was to, along with all of the information she has then I would talk to the bank and verify whether this was paid. She said I should already have the info and she is having me processed. Can I really be arrested for something like this?

There is NO attorney by the name of "Elizabeth Latimore" licensed in the State of Georgia...or in any other State, for that matter. I checked with the State Bar Association, and confirmed this.
This is just another desperate ploy by a bunch of desperate criminals (such as these), to get money out of you...anyway they can. They are financially, morally and ethically BANKRUPT.
