I have been receiving several scam calls from the 404 area recently. This particular number shows up as being located i9n Atlanta, Sandy Springs. I answered the phone when this call came in. Ignoring the calls and blocking them has not been as successful as it was in the past. When I answered the call, the man told me that he was with Windows Technical Support. I asked him his name. I asked him if he was with mircosoft. I then asked him what company he worked for as Microsoft has many different technical support companies associated with it. He told me that he was with Spring Technical. I asked him where his company was located. He told me Tampa. I then asked him if he had a contact number where I could call in case I have any questions after our phone call. After I asked that he hung up on me! I didn't use vulgarity or anger. I just asked him a few polite questions that I would ask anyone that I would normally ask even with legitimate companies I was transacting business with. LOL I read a report put out by one of the major networks that suggested that you keep a person on the phone as long as you can if they are scammers. They will get tired of wasting their time talking to you. I blocked them but, I don't really expect them to call me back anytime soon. Even if they do, I will have the satisfaction of wasting their time!
