got a call from 4042487486 and told that they was calling to let me know that civil suit was being filed against me. when i asked for more info they told me that they had none that they was on the notifier. I tried to call back and a recording came saying that the magic jack customer mail box was full please call back later. I just want to know if this is a scam
This is a scam!!! do not answer these calls, if this was regarding a civil suit against you someone would knock on your door to notify you not make a call.
Got a call from this number today. Lady tried to tell me there was a law suit being brought against me and I asked her for the attorneys name and she wouldn't give it to me. I told her I only talk with lawyers when it involves a legal matter and she tried to get me to give her some personal information and I hung up. Probably a scam.
Just received a call from this number at my office. They asked for me by name and I said "He isn't available. May I take a message?" She said "Okay" then hung up. Obviously a scam as I know I have no legal suits against me. I am tempted to play with them a bit as I work in a law firm and transfer them to "my attorney" and see what comes of it. Bet it would scare the poop out of them.
