Caller calls in and asks for a co-worker- gave me his name and company when asked but when i asked what the call was regarding he tells me "to introduce myself as part of his Dell team...." blablablabla
Sorry these Calls are a wastes of everyones time...We get "new reps" all the time and don't need to waste time getting to know ones name when he will just be replaced in a few months and another one will take his spot
This is a legitimate company and not a scam. They do security monitoring for other companies. When they spot a problem, they run down the call list they've been provided to inform people of the issue. If they're calling you in error, either you got a phone number from someone who used to work in IT or someone typed a number into their database incorrectly, you should be able to tell them they have the wrong number and get it cleared up.
Note: "event reminder" isn't particularly accurate but it's the best of the available Call Type choices.
Repeated calls to my cell from this number. When I called back to tell them to quit harassing me, they said they couldn't authenticate me and hung up. Of course they can't authenticate me. They have no business harassing me.
