I got an automated call from this number identifying itself as "card member services" asking if I wanted to lower my interest rate and pressed 1 and was then transferred to a woman who said that her company can lower our interest rate on our cards but she would have to pre-quilify me. After asking many questions and not giving any personal information I was able to find out it is not from our actual credit card company but a middle man so to speak that will call the credit card companies for you while you are on the line and negotiate lowering your credit rates. You would need to supply them with a credit card that had a high interest rate, have not been late on and was not close to going over your credit balance. Messing with the lady I said, "All of my credit cards are near their balance." She quickly replied with, "Well then your broke [***] needs to get off the phone." and hung up on me. Course at this point I thought it was funny but I feel they are defiantly a scam so beware. When I called the number back it quickly went to fast busy signal.
Just missed a call from this number (luckily!). Checked this website, which usually tells me when it's these slimeballs. What part of "Do Not Call Registry" do they think doesn't apply to them?
These people are simply scumbags! They need to find their mommies and beg them to start over and raise them correctly! Provided these losers ever had moms!!!!!!!!!!!!
