I have received 2 calls from a Ms Clark from the MLA Corporation. I had a payday loan a while back, it went into collections, I paid it off through a legitimate debt collector. I faxed the MLA a copy a letter stating that this debt was paid, and now I receive another call saying that there are a couple of things that don't match up....Glad I found this site. I am blocking this number and calling the agency I first dealt with.
I recieved a call from my daughter who said somebody by the nmae Mr Biggs called her and left a message for me to call him at 404-228-2517. So i called and blocked my number he anwsers Biggs here i asked what is this about he says let me verify some information and started by asking is the last 4 numbers of my SSN xxxx i told him no and he hangs up.
Mr Biggs call and Said that I was going to jail if i did not take care of these payday loans and they were going to suspend my license and some lady got on the phone and said how much do i valve my freedom and if i did not take care of this debit that i would be arrested.she wanted my cc number so that she can debit the money off and that i would be getting a email from that office.
