I called the number back a few times. I got someone on the phone that said I have registered with Mobile Money Machines. Which of course I hadn't.
He said my number would be removed from call lists.
I just got my first call from this number. I let it ring just long enough before my machine kicked in. I didn't say anything for a few seconds and finally just said "YUP". Just as I heard a voice start to say something I hung up. I read above that this number was traced to Mobile Money Machines. I've seen that program and it's a total SCAM. Reviews for it are terrible. I think I may have watched the 'boring' Sales Video, can't remember. BUT, I didn't give them my number. Now that I know it may be MMM, I may pick up next time, just to give the caller a hard time. I'm really sick and tired of SO MANY telemarketers calling these days. The number of calls seems to be increasing over the past few months.
This is definitely a job I would never want. I actually just called another number: 800-650-8298, which is Scott Macillvray Financial. I recently attended a very LONG and Boring seminar and did NOT receive my FREE Tablet Computer, that "3" different young ladies on the phone told me I would receive before I left. Didn't happen!
Many people left that seminar quite angry. They all came for the same reason; they were told they would receive a FREE Tablet just for attending. I just called the company back to tell these young ladies the information they were giving out was FALSE. The gal I talked to said she appreciated the information cuz she thought they gave these out.
Anyway, if this 404 call is from Mobile Money Machines, stay away. Total SCAM in my opinion. Just google it.!
