Got a call from this number this morning. I answered, got a recorded message that started "This is so and so the tree man just giving you a call to....." . I then hung up before the message completed. I suspect it is just another of many scam calls. The CID show "Wireless Caller". I have a number of friends whose number shows up like that, but I should know better than to answer a call from a number I don't recognize.
Their user name "cme" (See Me) is a clue that they want attention. They did not get any over the past year, so maybe they think that talking to themselves is better than nothing. But then, that did get your attention...

Sure, and maybe my shopping list will buy all my groceries and pack my car for me. The DNCR is a phone number list, not a regulatory body. You want action? Find your caller and send your own letter. Don't look surprised when you have trouble obtaining an address from a gypsy contractor who knows he's breaking the law. Then maybe you'll see that it won't be so "easy for them to take care of that".
