My wife and and I are seperated and she recieved a call about my brother from Matt Merchant saying he was an investigator from the treasury dept. and was issuing a warrant for my brother's arrest if information wasn't given to him about my brother. M. M. said my brother was guilty of consumer fraud and obtaining credit under fraudulent circumstances and that if she didn't give him the info he needed that she would be charged as a coconspirator. Yeah she called me up pissed since she has no contact with my brother. Glad I found this site so I could smooth her feathers. These people are real pieces of S***.
Got the same message from some lady on my message. It's just a prank they cant do anything if its a credit issue over 7 years has passed. My cousin is a lawyer i made them speack with the lady with all question about the account number court filling number etc and she hung up so just either have fun with them or just ignore them.
On the evening of 30 Jan 2008, my mother received a call from investigator Matt Merchant- he asked for Le____ and my mother informed him that she did not have any info available. He then told my mother that he would issue a warrant on her and another one of my sibliings. My mother does not deserve to be harrass like this and this agency called my mother's number over ten times in less then a five hour period. They are rude and try to enforce illegal tactics to scare the elderly.
My Brother Got A Call From Ms. Scott. She said that I was being sued in a civil manner. She Stated That The Lawsuit Would Be Filed In The County Were I Live In. My Brother Lives In Riverside County California And I Live In A Totally Separate State. My Brother Seemed Worried And Asked Me If Someone Was Looking For Me. The Message Must Have Sounded Pretty Official Because He Was Worried And Even Promised Me To Take Care Of It.
I keep recieving phone calls from 404-287-0204, Caller keeps refering to her self as Investagator Clark, The 1st time she told my wife she was looking for another person and there was a case with a docket number. The second time she called she asked for the same girl, but sais I was given as a reference. When I asked her as a reference for what, she started to hang up the phone. She would not give me any information on her, her company or the nature of the call. I also gooled the number and found numerous websites saying that this is a BIG SCAM. These people are using old credit reports to try and threaten people to pay them money. Please file complaints on this number. The websites have the information if you need them
