We keep getting calls from this number, but no one answers. Maybe 15 times in the last two weeks. I want someone to answer so I can give them a piece of my mind.
In my opinion, these people are NOT Habitat. It IS a fraudulent scam. Habitat has no program called Family & Friends, as stated by the woman on the call. Check out www.habitat.org. I couldn't find the program, nor the phone number on the site. If you call the 404-287-2612 number, it finally gives you the option to not receive any further calls. All you have to do is press 3. The number disconnects and gets ready to call you again, either a little later, or the next day.
