The address is extremely deceiving. "3328 EAST PONCE DE LEON AVENUE" is the location of a United States Post Office. "#461" is a PO Box.
A search of the Georgia Secretary of State's site show's no results which makes Genuine Recovery Services a FRAUD company as it DOES NOT EXIST. Other reported company names being used and by this scam collection agency; DIRECT RECOVERY
They have also been reported for faxing companies and requesting employee's information. A fine way to attempt gathering of one's identity for identity theft or pass on when they sell their database of information just as they themselves have more than likely purchased. These are typical tactics of scam zombie, dead, or non-existent debt collections (Debts that have run out due to Statute of Limitations, Bankruptcy Discharge, or paid in full years prior).
The fax is directed to human resources director, manager, or owner of the company.
For a scare tactic/real feel effect they list the last four digits of one's social security number and a "file no."
They request the employee's position, date of hire, whether they are full time or part time, and if they are paid weekly or bi-weekly. They request the HR director/manager/owner and the employee's signature. *All information that can be easily used by identity thieves to commit fraud in the individual's name.

If you should receive a call or fax from these three numbers, REPORT THEM to your state's Attorney General's office site, the ftc and fcc.
i have been called and faxed by genuine recovery services too. im going to place a call to the local scottsdale pd and report that they have an extortion scam running out of the po box they left for an address.
Caller has called my home phone, spouse's personal cell phone, my personal cell phone, child's cell phone in NY state supposedly to collect a debt from my "other" child. When I called them back they gave me the name Genuine Recovery Company. Ha--nothing genuine about their phone conduct. They are clearly scam artists.
received a call from 404-334-5961 and "Mrs. Brown" left a message saying I was the "Point of contact" for someone who is a distant relative - who I am pretty sure does not even know my number so I highly doubt I was ever his "point of contact" and it was an "urgent matter", blah blah blah and she gave a different number to call back (855-243-4323)- I got this call a few days ago but they never called back. I kind of think with some of these that the reason some people get so many calls is that they either answer the first time and speak to them for a minute (so they know that maybe they can talk them into giving them some money) OR they call them back after they leave the voice mail - either way, I'm pretty sure that once you engage with them, that's when they become relentless and won't stop calling.
