Donna Brown left message on my phone looking for my mom. Stated I was listed as a known associate and that it was imperative that I call back due to an impending case against my mother. I called back and a Rebecca Johnson answered and said something about Investigation Services or something to that nature. Interestingly enough she sounded just like Donna Brown, probably the same person. I told her she called looking for my mom and she asked if I would take a message. I told her no, if she wanted to talk to my mother then she needed to call her. She stated that there was an outstanding legal issue going to be filed in my mom's name and I told her she needed to be careful what she was saying because I am currently studying law and I know that she is not allowed legally to provide even that much information basically she was breaking the law. I told her don't call my number anymore and "surprisingly" she hung up on me. How rude. Either way I don't really care. If she has an issue with my mother then call my mother not me.

I also have received a call on my cell from a different number but the call back number was 404-382-7251. Overall in the past year and a half I have received about a dozen or so fake debt collectors all with the same info about having a couple of felony issues against me with a pay day loan. First time shook me up but I knew that I had complied with any loan so I began to explore and through the FTC and Attorney General Office, even the local DA and my own Lawyer to find out this is widespread and getting worse. I found out if it is a legit claim that I should have received some type of written notification in which I did have one but I never talked with them, my Lawyer did all the negotiations and I signed the paperwork and all was taken care of. Everytime I think I have finally escaped the calls a new one steps in and fills the void. What a shame that people stoop to terrorizing people to make a dishonest buck. I know the FTC and the Attorney General's offices all over are doing their best to rid us of these parasites but as soon as they get one removed several others take their place.
I received a call from this number on 2-12-15, Some lady name Denice, didn't give company name but said that I had a couple of legal issues and that if I didn't contact them back would result in further legal action against me. Over the past year and a half I have received a dozen or so calls from all over the U.S all with the same claims, The first one shook me up because I had no idea that such a scam was going on. After retaining a Attorney and talking with him that he told me to research the numbers which I did and all showed up in a database and to read the FTC reports concerning FAKE DEBT COLLECTORS and also the Attorney General's Office and local DA and each told me the same thing, if it is a legit complaint I would have received a notice and paper work via mail or by the Sheriff's Department. The one and only time that I did have an issue that is the way it happened and even then I didn't talk to anyone in that firm, my Attorney did all the negotiations for me all I had to do was sign the paperwork. Makes one angry having to keep going on doing this over and over again. I know the FTC and other Agency's are doing their best to take care of these type of scams but for everyone they stop several more take their place.
