A woman called my business phone from this number early this morning and left a garbled voice message saying she was with AT&T and I needed to contact her immediately to avoid interruption in my service. A search of the number indicated that she was calling from a Level 3 Communications phone number so I'm certain she wasn't with AT&T. I've received dozens of other voice messages from 888 numbers claiming to be with AT&T's Migration Department about upgrading to avoid an interruption in my AT&T business internet service (which I don't have). I no longer answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.
The same exact thing is happening to me. I have two AT&T business phone numbers, but I do not have AT&T internet service. They call every day, several times a day. Sometimes there is an automated message, sometimes there is a live person leaving a message and other times they just hang up. This number that they are calling from now is a new one. I don't answer any of them either. I am so annoyed by all of this. It has been going on for months now. They don't stop. I am not sure what we can do except to report all the numbers that they call from. Maybe someday they will get bored enough to stop calling. I hope so. What a bunch of morons!
They left message saying my business phone plan was outdated and needed immediate attention.
They left 888 854 4247 number to call them back on. Its a scam to the TTT
