They called my home phone number at 7:42 a.m. I've had other phone calls late (past 9 p.m.) where I will answer, I will hear a click, then a disconnection. The woman identified her company as the Senior Diabetic Network. I told her to get her supervisor on the phone as she was contacting me at a time that is illegal according to FCC regulations. She put a man named Carlos on the phone who stated he was new to the company, and didn't have a phone number or address to give me for Senior Diabetic Network before he disconnected the phone call.
I just filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357. I contacted the FCC as these people were breaking the law by calling me at an unauthorized time. The FCC said they only deal with actual businesses violating FCC rules. They told me the Senior Diabetic Network is a scam. I figure if I put this online, more people will call the FTC to file complaints so that a legitimate look will be taken into these people.
