I just called them and told them that I could no longer make the payments and they could have it back. Hated to let it go but when the economy crapped out that was just the way it was. Of course they gave threatened me but they didn't do anything and why should they? I paid on it for years and then just gave it back so they had the best of both worlds. Do fall for some of these groups that make you pay big bucks up front to sell it for you because they don't keep their promises at all. List it on Craig's list or find another site you can list it yourself and see what happens. Good luck.
Called today and no message. I've never in my life owned a time share and I get calls all the time about selling my time share. I've had this number for 12 years. Not sure how my number got on these lists, but I wish these a-holes would not use lists from 12 years ago. People changes phone numbers, you know...
I just got a call from this number a couple minutes ago. I picked up after 3rd ring, and held my finger over the mouthpiece so they couldn't hear anything on my end. On their end there was dead air for about 4 seconds, then a sound like "boing", and then the telemarketer's line connected, and a female voice said "Hello, is (my first name) there?" Lots of voices in the background, so you know it's an auto-dialing call center. I stayed silent, and after several seconds she hung up. I really don't give a chit what these people want, but it gives me pleasure to tie up their line for nothing. I never engage in conversation with them or give any kind of sound response to indicate I have a live number. Most of these places record each call, so if you don't give them anything to record, they will eventually get the message to remove your number.
