I have received over 20 calls within the last 2.5 days. It is nothing but a voice-activated system (starts when you say "hello"), which wants to know if you need help with an injury or disability claim, etc. I DO NOT want to be constantly bothered by this phone number - never solicited for it and would like my phone number removed from their database. I tried calling back after 2 voice messages were left, but when you phone that number back, a message just states, "there is no one available to take your call - goodbye." Is there any hope of having them lose my number?
Over the past week I probably got called 5-6 times. (the 4044001179 number). And it's wicked annoying. I use Verizon FiOs package deal for phone, internet, and TV. Is that how they got the number?
