Called my cell again. Same scam, different day. This time I tried to act interested to see how far I could take it. At some point got a recorded message that all the agents were busy right now and the call disconnected. Bummer. I finally had a few extra minutes to string them along and see what the actual scam was going to be. Maybe next time......I'm sure there will be a next time because they've been calling every day!
Home Security Systems, Vince, calling. Asked me what I was doing and I told him getting ready to file a complaint about him. Thanked him for his company name and his name.
This is the home alarm system scam caller that changes their phone numbers about one a month. Always starts with some bs like "The FBI reports..." At this point I block that phone number forever. Otherwise they flood my work cellphone with calls and you can't get them to stop as they are likely an overseas scammer.
This was a sales call to sell a wireless security system for the home. When I asked if they were aware of the National Do Not Call list, the immediately hung up on me.
I told the girl
Funny, i'm in a call center in Orlando running the same scam. Let's turn them in to FTC and split the reward."
She hung up but the robot continues calling every morning. It's ex's lowlife ex , who works in a call center behind this, and i have traced enough calls....
