I have Verizon, forget Verizon's block numbers. Check out PrivacyStar. I have had it for 4 years and it is the best. Service is free unless you want the look up feature, then it is $19.95 a year no contacts. No limits to block numbers Phne never rings from known telemarketers.
Caller seemed stunned when I answered. Said 'uh' and that's all. After a few seconds of dead air I hung up. Could have been a robo-call that didn't engage. I called the number to see who it is, *67-404-400-6662, and a robo answer said something like "Hi, if you're calling to learn more about the free 3-in-1 wireless home security system for you home press 1." And press 2 to be removed from the calling list.
bogus funding company claiming they are following up on a prior conversation. they have called twice already today and numerous times in the last two weeks.

This "security" company calls daily from a different number. My guess is they are phishing for good numbers either to sell or to social engineer. The following numbers call me. 404-400-6662 (GA), 319-519-1122 (IA), 410-246-5455 (MD), 253-258-0087 (WA). They are all internet call and the numbers don't resolve anywhere. They are spoofing their numbers. Do no answer and do not call back. Once you call back they use caller id to validate your number. Do not talk or say anything personal as it may be used for part of their social engineering scam.
