When you call their number they answer Nationwide Credit Inc.. They call me everyday!!!! It has only been within the last month. They never leave a message. So guess if they want to waste their time calling me fine. Calls not in my phone are assigned a no ring. So it always shows up as a missed call. They are calling a business line that is forwarded to my cell phone.
My mother-in-law received a call from this number earlier today. The man initially stated that he was from Publisher's Clearing House and that she had won a large sum of money. The man wanted her to the go to Western Union and send $199 to Virginia. When the man was asked where he was located, he stated he was working for a gaming commission and lottery company in Las Vegas, NV. I then heard a man in the background telling the man on the phone what to say. At this point the man started getting his story mixed up and said he was from Publisher's Clearing House again. At first the man was very professional on the phone. After I told him that this was a scam he then got defensive and tried to convince us that this was not a scam. He said that when she got the Western Union receipt then her money would be delivered by UPS but that it was coming from Publisher's Clearing House. This phone call was a total scam!
