Calling to solicit funds for a Veterans organization. And yes, they asked for a common name that did not exist at the number they called. I came across as a scam. But he did say that they would take me off their list when I let him know he was calling a business.

Said they were a veterans organization, but haven't gotten anything in the mail. I think it was a scam because the number of BS calls I've gotten since this one has gone way ups I think the call numbers to verify you're a person, then sell the information.
