They called and called until I finally answered. Stated charges were starting at 3 today. I need to made payment at a Walmart or CVS. Right there tells you it's not legit. I told the guy off and he said he will start processing for my arrest. Ok we will see. I never committed fraud with any bank. JERKS!
I just received the same call. She told me her name was Michelle Smith and said I have committed fraud and milicious theft on a loan that did in 2011. She kept telling me the loan company wasn't prosecuting me that they were because it was turned over to them. She said she was the investigator for my case. Said she would issue a warrant for my arrest if I didn't pay 301.23 today. Felony charges would be brought against me. She kept saying it was through Direct Lending. I have no idea about any of this. But it sure has me worried and scared.
Tried to scare my 88 year old mother into revealing personal information. They told her she had a debt to pay! Never, ever give name, address or social security number. The police have been notified of this scam. Beware scammers!
I had this lady call and said the exact same thing, they were looking to place my for felony charge and they are going to prosecute me. She mentioned that she could not tell me the company they I owed the money or anything. Asked her if I she could mail me something she got anger and said no. I will get you arrest. Makes no sense. Then a different lady called me back just a rude. Cant tell me name, or anything. How are you going to arrest me with out any name?
