Called today. Did not answer. Voicemail was a lady saying "hello? hello?" with a bunch of people talking in the background (a call center). I am on the FTC's Do Not Call Registry, so I submitted a complaint at donotcall.gov.
Marked "not safe" on okcaller.com five times in September and October. Tried to call the number back before seeing this and it doesn't work.
Receive several of these per week. Caller claims to offer an extended warranty on a leased vehicle I no longer own. Treating as a scam call since I keep telling these folks I no longer own the vehicle and to remove me from their list. If they were legitimate, they would have done so. Probably looking for credit card information!
Wanted to sell me Warranty for my 2013 Pathfinder. Called my cell number. The only way the got this info is directly from the Nissan Dealer in Kennesaw. I do not recall giving them permission to maybe "Sell" my info. This has been going on for a few months. Have asked to be removed. Does not work. I guess I will call the dealership.
You will find that today it is a reverse option. It's not a case of giving a company permission to call you, or sell your information. It's a case of you must tell them up front not to. And each case is separate. You must tell them you don't want them to call. No third party calling. And they cannot sell your information.
