Yes, it's another Satisfied Victim of liars and criminals. Naturally the police "did not receive anything in [your] name". Police are not in the business of debt collection. They're busy enough with real threats to public safety and don't need to play errand boys and girls for your false threats. You should "whoooo, thank god" that more people don't realize they can sue you into dust for the grief you cause at little or no cost.
Get the same phone calls regarding "check" fraud - funny thing is, I don't have a checking account...hmmm. And NEVER give them your full social security number, that is what they try to get from you.
Angela king called me, my husband and his work to collect an old payday loan she said we did not pay. I called the company she said it came from and they have no record of us having a loan. Angela said they were going to arrest my husband for check fraud if we didn't pay. She wouldn't give me any info since it was "between the lawyer and her client'. This is a scam! Beware!
