Today around 11:45 am I got a number saying they were from the police asking if the owner of the house was there. From the looks of this form, the numbers posted look identically familiar. I am very weary about how on earth they knew my name. I will contact REAL law-enforcement if it persists again.
We receive calls from this number also, but we do not owe anything that a collection agency should call us.This could be a clever scam with the intent to illegally obtain personal information from you. Then this information could be used or sold for an awful, unlawful purpose. This possible senario could be the reason when you try to call them back you receive a recorded message stating the number is no longer in service or you do not get a response. Please, everyone, be careful and never give out personal information unless you absolutely, without a doubt, know who you are talking to.
