Same as other wanting to lend money...so I went along. Told him yes we were looking for some working capital and wanted to know what the maximum amount we could borrow. It was dependent on our credit rating so I said unfortunately it had drop recently but was still pretty good and could he mail me a packet. He said yes so I gave him my mailing address; 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20500.
Caller ID unknown appears. Calls and asks for Owner. I ask what number they are calling from.
Tells me 404-500-8672 and say that they are Merchants bank and it is regarding a financial matter. I asked them to remove us from their call list and he tells me he can't. Lots of noise (people talking) in back ground. He tells me he can't (not authorized) to remove me from their list. I told him that I received phone calls from them before and asked each time to stop calling. Very bad English.
After I told him that I was a supervisor he transferred me to someone else and I had to repeat the same request of stop calling us.
I have received 23 phones calls today from this number - and overall, 49 in the last 2 weeks... they are idiots... the same idiot keeps getting on the phone... "harry"... and he is reading a script - and never listens to me... how the hell do I get them to stop calling me?????? PLEASE???
