Yes total creeps. When they call asking to speak to the business owner, I say in my most delightful receptionist voice to please hold and I will put you right through. After placing the caller on hold, I disconnect their phone call. Whoops! .....I am in fact the business owner.
He purposely called me back today to say [***] you to me after I said I'm not interested and to not call my number again. He is a sorry [***] man and needs to get rid of that stupid accent. If they can't speak PLAIN ENGLISH why do companies even hire them to harass people and companies? Get a real job a$$holes.........
This number called our business today at 1030 hours. Caller ID said, "Atlanta GA" so I knew there was a 95% chance it was a scam artist. I picked up the receiver slightly and put it right back in its cradle because I don't have the patience or the time to listen to yet another scam artist or spammer. For the heck of it, I blocked my number and called the number back. I got a recording that said, "The Google subscriber you are trying to call is not available. If you'd like to leave a message..." I disconnected. I could have left a rude message but it wouldn't do any good anyway. So, not surprisingly, the caller is using some kind of VoIP service to hide themselves which, in my book, means they're scam artists. Legitimate business have designated phone numbers.
Ha, ha ha, called and ask for owner, no problem can you please hold, after 2 minutes of holding for the owner which is myself, I picked line back up and asked "whom are you holding for" chief feathers stated the "owner", I said hmm he normally picks right up, let me see where he is at, put back on hold, we did this 3 times over a 7 minute period before chief feathers finally hung up...... If they call back as well as all the others that call, that wait button works wonders..Call waiting and call block are wonderful tools.
This is the third call we've received from them. It's obviously a SPOOFED number - I can't block them.
Nothing changes. Loud call center with lots of static on the line, foreign, difficult to understand. Asked for owner by first name, receptionist said this she (she's not). They wanted to loan us business funds … I reblocked, it beeped once indicating the number was not previously blocked. That means SPOOFED number.
If this actually IS "Intrinsic Capital" as someone stated above, this is likely them. They wanted to loan our business money. Seriously, do they think I'm going to do business with somebody who (1) doesn't show their business name on my caller ID, (2) who calls from such a LOUD call center we can't even hear them, and (3) uses a spoofed number that I can't block?
They immediately hung up when I answered the call. Feeling a bit feisty with a double shot of confrontational I called the number back and was taunted with, "The Google subscriber you have called is not available, please leave a message after the tone." Caller ID showed "Atlanta GA".
