Call was from 814-409-9443
A miss Elliot called my ex husband, he called me&I called the number. She put me through to a Thomas Miller who threatened me with warrants being issued tomorrow morning. A seven hundred and something dollar check to ACE for a payday loan. I've never had a Payday loan
Recieved a call this morning from a woman and then i was transfered to a Ron Jackson who told me i had a payday loan from 2007 and if i didnt pay the 1420.00 by the close of bussiness today they would be turning my case over to the local courts and i would be charged with 3 felony charges.
My father got a call from an Ashley Walker from Coghen & Powers. She stated he got a loan back in 2008 for $580, now fees and interest is $960. If he doesn't pay by end of business day they are sending to state department to file charges. I, his so even talked with them and was almost convinced they were legitmate, but after researching. They are scam artist. I tried to call them back to get an address to report them to someone, but no call back yet. I did right a letter to ACE Check Cashing advising them of this issue. If they got hacked, or misplaced persons personal information, they need to be SUIED! Any person who isn't aware of these people would pay the money, rather than going to jail. People be on alert.
My step mom recieved a call from a Thomas Miller of Coggins and Coggins about me. After calling them he called back stated i had a payday loan back in 2010 of 9xx.xx and if i did not want the cops coming to my job i would need to pay him1068.90 by today. I never had a payday loan. He also threaten my job saying if i liked where i worked then i better pay. The number i called 814-409-9443.... what a joke.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
