Hi. I have recently been receiving calls from numbers in Georgia. One of the numbers is 404-602-0021 and another is 678-325-0033. The last call recieved was from the 404 number and I was asked to press "1". I pressed 1 and was hung up on. I believe the 678 number did the same, but it was a few months ago. Is there some scam going around that uses this kind of procedure?

The telephone number is allegedly associated to a "collection agency" in Atlanta, GA. It is my understanding that the individual associated with ARG is an individual named Neil Taff. In a telephone conversation with Mr. Taff, he provided information that he represents ARG at the following address:
ARG (Asset Recovery Group, Inc.)
Neil Taff
2450 Galleria Pkwy
Atlanta, GA 30067.
It should also noted that research of this address places ARG in a business park in Atlanta, GA.
While the GA Secretary of State possesses information regarding Asset Recovery Group, Inc.; this information illustrates that this company is currently dissolved, terminated or cancelled. This information can be researched as follows:
