I got one of the yellow notes with names tara and tommy downie in east cobb near where kennesaw and marietta meet. Creepy.
Has anyone heard a response back from the police?
I also got a handwritten note from Tara Downie. I did not call the number and immediately began to search the internet to find out if these people were legit since my house is not for sale. My handwitten note said exactly what the note to "Suspicious" said. I don't know if these people are trying to contact people to find out the layout of their home and find out about their security systems or what but I am really curious as to what they are up to. If anyone knows, please share. I wonder if we all have something in common.
My elderly in-laws got a letter thru the mail. Handwritten from Tomm & Tara. Same thing. I'm turning it and a copy of this page over to the Smyrna Police.
I have just given the note and all other information to the Smyrna Police and Cobb County Police. Please call the police for the area that you live in and give them the information that you have. That way they can cross reference similar occurances and possibly catch these cons!!
Called the number. They are not licensed realtors. Their "out of office" asistant says they are private "investors" looking to buy houses. As the economy wosens, more of these scamsters will surface. Sending this to the cops.
i have received this same letter. Its weird because I rent . And how did they get my name! This very weird and creepy. I hope nobody tries to come and try to do something to me or where I live. I'm gonna notify the police.
